Judgement Rules

************************************************************
Welcome to Judgement.  A Role Play and Combat Multi-Sim Community using the XRPS Meter System and based in Apocalyptic Times where super beings do exist.   For your convenience and to learn more in depth about our Judgement community please log onto our website http://forums.judgementrising.com/ is here you can browse the forums and catch a small taste of why Judgement is quickly becoming the model for exciting role play and combat.  Please know you can request an Judgement mentor who will gladly go over any or all parts of our rules, our role play events, instruction is combat ‘if’ you want and even offer you a tour.
Judgement is a Mature role play community and our rules require that all those that enter be at least 18 years of age and understand that  mature content is allowed. Please keep in mind that Second Life Terms of Service rules state a player must be at least 18 years or older to enter a Mature Sim. Please respect this rule.

JUDGEMENT STAFF:

The Judgement Staff love the community and are here to help support, nurture and create ways, with the players’ help, to make everyone’s experience a positive one.

A. The Administers (Admins) are in place to help in maintaining the integrity of community when rules are misunderstood or possibly broken. Admins are players themselves and will give directives only if it is determined all other avenues have been closed.  They always will assume that any issue can be resolved without fault  but, when necessary, they will follow the guidelines in  Judgement Penalty. <See: Dockings >

B. The Game Masters (GM) are versed in role playing, negotiations, compromise and  creative storylines. They  are players too who are committed to the Judgement community . GMs are essential to the fabric of the Judgement Community and are there to help encourage RP and to redirect possible issues by offering suggestions to the players involved. They try to not be enforcers of the Judgement Rules (but have the authority to), however,  their expertise allows them a unique perspective within the role play community to help the players towards a pleasant and rewarding RP experience.  They work in concert with Admins and can / will assess ‘compromise initiatives’ during a given length of time and, if none can be concluded,  they will call in their counterparts if needed.

C. The Mentors are Judgement teachers skilled in all areas related to playing within the community. They offer players a unique prospective on how the community is flowing including role play events. They explain all rules and examples of how to prevent possible Out of Character (OOC) issues. . Astute in weapons, role play, character development as well mentors  will answer questions and guide all players through their stay either initially and/or anytime during the game. ( This is true with any Judgement staff) The Mentor’s headquarters is housed in the Community Center, a location set aside entirely for learning and /or enhancing your Judgement experience.

JUDGEMENT  XRPS METER:

All those who enter the Judgement Universe MUST wear an XRPS meter.  For those who only want  to visit Judgement, they must wear an XRPS  ‘JUDGEMENT VISITOR’  tag.

The Judgement Universe uses the XRPS Combat Meter System created by Baron Nowhere. This innovative system allows the players unending and creative opportunities within our community. XRPS is flexible and designed for the player to communicate with role playing objects, as well as, providing race specific skills for combat and/ or role play.  No other meter system will be allowed in Judgement. This includes active and/or inactive HUDs,  and/or advertising of the meter through their Second Life avatar.
************************************************************
JUDGEMENT PLAYER CONSENT: ANY PLAYER THAT USES THE XRPS METER WITHIN THE JUDGEMENT COMMUNITY CONSENTS TO JUDGEMENT STAFF HAVING THE RIGHT FOR REASONABLE INVESTIGATION IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE RULES AND SAFE GUARD AGAINST ABUSE. THIS INCLUDES PERMISSION TO READ ALL ROLE PLAYING LOGS IN LOCAL CHAT AND PERSONAL IMs BETWEEN THE JUDGEMENT PLAYERS.
************************************************************

A. All Judgement players can contact a Judgement Staff member while wearing their meter and typing  in local chat   /9 admin -> the state your reason and /9mentor -> provide reason.  The statement is directly visible to all staff and they will contact you directly.

B. Anyone needing to discuss concerns regarding a Judgement staff member and their possible disrespect towards them or perceived abuse of staff power may contact Izzebella Rossini or Nixi Pinazzo.

C. Anyone who feels the have been penalized unfairly may go to http://forums.judgementrising.com and then to “Last Judgement” to state their case.  There will be no tolerance for arguing with staff in open chat and trying to create a public opinion discussion against the on-site Judgement staff.

D. Any player found deliberately and with full knowledge of trying to exploit the XRPS meter will immediately be banned from the universe and Baron Nowhere, owner and creator will be notified.

E. The Judgement Community is primarily English speaking and  those that do not speak this language are asked to wear a translator. If a player is asked to send a note card of their logs to an admin for review and it is NOT in English, the log will be translated to help provide honest evidence.

F.  All Judgement Commercial properties must be above 450meters and out  of the role play zone. The only commercial properties allowed will be shops that have true attended role play in  theme, decor and have shop keepers in attendance.

G. No Player may play in Judgement less than 30 days (one month) old in Second Life (Exception will be allowed if the player speaks to Izzebella Rossini, Nixi Pinazzo or Baron Nowhere and offers sound reasons to allow it )

ROLE PLAY ZONES:

A. All In Play is at 349m and lower. There are NO SAFE zones within the Judgement game ‘in play’ zone however, there are areas where role play before attack are required.
1. Exception: Community Center is a safe zone for new players and / or students . This area will be using skills and providing a safer place for learning the XRPS meter and rules. The area is not for ‘in game’ players to linger who are not Judgement staff / Guest    teachers or student.
B. All In Play below 349m require that chatter that is Out of Character (OOC) be kept in IM s and/ or in brackets in local chat. [Please read more in Role Play]

COMBAT AND ROLE PLAY SIM(S)

Combat Sim
Tribulation->25
Role Play Sims
Judgement ->25 (main sim)
Pestilence->25
Repentence->25
Retribution->25

Judgement has both a strong role play interest and combat passion.  All Judgement sims are dedicated to role play first while the Tribulation Sim is combat rules.  This concept is provided so the player(s) can choose to interact in the City of Judgement knowing they may choose what they wish to do all within the same XRPS Universe.

Judgement’s  exciting new player environment can help you decide with each visit what you want  to do and where you wish to play all within the Judgement Community. Rules of Role Play Sim require all players must role play at least THREE MINUTES  of intent BEFORE any aggression. Rules in Combat sims are loose and role play is only required if the victor chooses. However, there is a minimum role play requirement ‘if‘ the captor wishes to pursue this.  [please read more in Combat Rules].

************************************************************

COMBAT RULES – ******* NOTE READ ADD-ONS [BOTTOM OF PAGE]*****
Combat WITHOUT role play in the Tribulation  is LEGAL . If a player is defeated and the captor wishes to role play then,  the defeated player is required to follow the minimum role play rules.  All Judgement Universe Sims are Role Play first ( 3 mins) except Tribulation

If you are in a combat sim while in battle then, to escape combat, you move into the RP sims to escape your would be assailant… this will not protect you as it will be deemed an already on going fight.   No one can run from an on-going fight  to the ’safe’ sim to escape an attacker. The battle is only over after fifteen (15) minutes has transpired. (meaning the players can pursue another player from a combat sim into a role play sim within that 15 minute period).  After the 15 minute period has passed then, and ONLY then, must a player role play BEFORE combat.

Example:  A faction called “Insanity” is fighting with the another faction called  “Killers” in a combat sim. They fight off and on there with some role play. Insanity is upset (IC) that the Killers defeated one of their leaders and raped them. Now Insanity wants revenge and goes to the Killers faction that is in Vampire. Insanity must role play before attacking the other faction knowing full well the Killers are getting ready for attack.  Insanity cannot just attack in a role play sim but can in a combat sim.

What is insufficient role play in this situation? /me  spits on you  or /me growls loudly  or /me pulls out my weapon ready to shoot you. Things of this nature.

What is sufficient role play in this situation? /me stands at the gate with a pounding heart while her eyes dart quickly from tower to tower checking for sentries finally, as she shifts her weight and brings her focus back to him, she casually begins to reach under her skirt folds allowing her fingers to begin to curl around the cold steel of her sword, ‘ I have come with my army prepared to talk on the matter of your kind attacking and raping my leader and mark my words, though I may appear calm in my voice, the fury in my heart is filled with rage”

1. All Judgement players wearing a running XRPS meter are a target.

2. All Judgement players MUST wear a running (active) XRPS meter when in combat.

3. No Player can DETACH their meter while in combat and go Non Com.

4. Non Combative (/9off) is when a player turns off their meter.  Players cannot go Non Com during combat or aggressive role play -

5. Convenient Com or Non Com – When a player is non-combative conveniently avoiding combat or going combative (/9on) to gain an advantage. No player may quickly switch from one to the other for convenience.
NOTE: 1. You must LEAVE THE AREA COMPLETELY and WAIT 15 MINUTES BEFORE  RETURNING in a combative state.
Player must have a clean log where no skills have been logged for at least 15 minutes. This is to prove they have fully left the area.
**If a player needs to log off  due to real life while in role play or combat it will be respected and considered legal. Please remember too many ‘excused’  times leaving the battle will lead to suspicion.
6. Must stay combative while walking/running away from battle through normal Second Life methods and once away THEN a player may go non combative.

7. Reviving – Remember you are a target. The XRPS meter allows you to chose revive or remain defeated after 5 minutes.  If you chose to self revive you run the risk of attack again. [See corpse camping ]NOTE: if you are revived by a ‘do-gooder ‘ and you do not wish to be revived, contact them in IM  stating your wish to stay down and NOT revive you.  Advise you also  let the victor know  in IM  that  you did not wish the revive as well.

8. Rezzing into combat – All players who rez into battle MUST go NON COM or DETACH meter as they cannot be in the battle. They must leave.
NOTE: please declare “REZZING” in local chat.  Be Smart: Log off away from known battle areas  so you don’t  get left out of the fun.
IF YOU REZ INTO BATTLE YOU MUST WAIT 15 MINUTES AFTER LEAVING TO RETURN.

9. Illegal to teleport (TP) players into a battle.

10. Illegal to teleport (TP) out of battle.

11. Crashing during combat means YOU CANNOT RETURN to the battle.
NOTE: there is a lot of question on TIME and returning. The player may not return until that battle is  over period. (Why? Because convenient crashing is too easily viewed as a method in avoiding capture or defeat)
SUGGESTION:  1. Make a new battle some place else.
HINT: Ask the other team if you MAY return in  Open Local Chat  (keep the log to prove it) and if  they say ’yes’ you may return.

12. Movement Enhancers – ALL Jump and Running Enhancers are illegal. All animations (AO) that send the player above and beyond normal Second Life abilities in height or speed are illegal.
NOTE: when defeated AO must be off .. Player Must be laying on the ground

13. No Moving in Defeat – Absolutely NO MOVING in defeat unless from role play where the victor binds and drags you away. . Do not role play in defeat that you are rolling away or crawling away. NO YOU CANNOT MOVE.
NOTE: 1.  Player MUST only use the XRPS defeat features in role play and NOT for combat. ALL PLAYERS IN COMBAT MUST LAY DOWN IN DEFEAT.

14. Corpse Camping -  1. When a defeated player is revived by the victor who then defeats them again.
NOTE: If you are defeated and your revive does offer you this choice and you accept it… then  you are a target again and can be legally defeated. This is not harassment. If you have an issue with a player that repeatedly defeats you as YOU get revived . IM the player and ask . ‘ do you want to RP ?. ” this opens the door to find out the intentions of the other player. This applies in all sims. If you feel you cannot handle the combat defeats then I encourage you to move out of the fray or venture to Judgement East for more role playing.

15. Corpse Camping Harassment:  When a player is continuously attacked over a period of time (days or hours) without role play or purpose. [see GM and role play]
NOTE: If you revive you ARE a target again.

16. Weapons: TWO (2) weapons only on the body. Weapons Stacking is MORE then 2 weapons
A. This can be 2 ranged weapons or 2 melee weapons or a mix of the two
B. Epee, martial arts, fists as a weapon type are considered to take up 1 weapons slot.
C. Rifles that require two hands may only have melee included
D. “Dummy” or “Costume” inactive weapons do not count against your weapons limit.
*Be sure to check with the admin to prove these are Costume only
NOTE:
1. All weapons NOT approved by the Judgement Weapons Guideline and/or Judgement Weapons Admin will be deemed illegal
2. No weapon will be approved without the Creator’s name and Note Card of the weapon.
3. All players are responsible for knowing what weapons are legal and illegal. [ See Approved Weapons - Front Page]

17. Melee Animations: Melee without an animation and sound  indicating the attack is not permitted.

18. Attacking through prims:  All shooting through prims is illegal. This included objects that ‘look like’ a broken window. All melee that cause damage through a prim is illegal.
NOTE: Using skills through a prim IS LEGAL

19. Battle/Fight is any two (2) players or more engaged in aggressive fighting of skills and/or weapons.
Note: Battle is over when the player(s) who ‘wins’ can leave without retaliation through skills and/or weapons.

20. Swapping sheets /9swap while in active combat is NOT allowed .  Once skills are used you MUST play that character ONLY. In Combat  YOU MUST LEAVE THE AREA, SWAP SHEETS AND WAIT 15 MINUTES BEFORE RE-ENTERING.

21. Using offense skills on a heal ball is illegal. Using healing skills on yourself while on a heal ball while being attacked is illegal. Using healing skills on another player while they are fighting and you’re on a heal ball is illegal. You may not jump on a heal ball if defeated.  IF you wish to fight another player YOU MUST jump OFF the heal ball and then you may attack. If you are defeated while on a heal ball you MUST JUMP OFF and lay on the floor.

Friendly heal is legal… meaning when no combat is happening and you’re being healed or healing while on a heal ball.

22. Using skills that benefit the caster on Avatars without Meters set to combative is illegal. It is illegal to cast skills on a target without an active meter for the goal of increasing your own vitals or stats.  Examples of illegal skills are Vampire bites and Angel blessing.  To be specific: any intentional use of skill on an avatar without an active meter is illegal.

************************************************************

ROLE PLAY RULES
Role Play Sims are Judgement, Retribution, Pestilence and Repentance.  These RP Sims allow full combat but the player MUST ROLE PLAY THREE MINUTES BEFORE ATTACK. ** SEE ADD-ONs [bottom of page]

1. The Player is In Character (IC) from 349m and down. This means all interactions are as the character you created to play and NOT you behind the computer screen.

2. All Out of Character (OOC) interaction is either in local chat with brackets and / or IM s.
NOTE: ALL IMs are OOC.
A. OOC insulting is any aggressive or disrespectful remark made to another player that clearly  shows it was not the IC player role playing. This will carry a warning and repeated offenders will  be docked.
B. We are players from around the world that are playing  a full on dark combat role play XRPS.   Some offensive words may not be offensive in another culture and the Judgement staff reserves the  right to say some words/ phrases are not OOC offensive.
1. Patience is needed.  Fuck you is used as often as ‘hello’ in a Dark Sim. Please do not view this as an insult or at least realize maybe it needs to be let go as not a biggie. Repeated   “Fuck you’ however, will be viewed as OOC insulting.
2. Using CAPS to clarify your ‘anger’ is definitely viewed as OOC insulting.

Offensive or True OOC words:
Nationalities- There are no countries in the fantasy world of Judgement
Ethnic and Religious – There are no religions or races from real world
Certain Words or Phrases that are or  almost always OOC even in IC – Noob,  Nigger, Nazi, Cheater, “read the words”
Words that especially offensive OOC to certain cultures – Cunt,  Stupid, Idiot
NOTE: Remember you are role playing and using  your text to be expressive  of who the character is and not your personal OOC. Also, the other player is your Judgement friend and friends try to respect and encourage positive interaction.  FURTHERMORE: Please remember this is a dark role play sim which means bad words are said within the IC  however,  this  does not mean the player means it OOC.

3. Safe Zones: There are NONE below 349m
Exception: Judgement Community Center which is above 350m

4. Role Play is Legal without a running XRPS meter.
A. Anyone can role play without a meter but if aggressive role play begins this player MUST make  his meter active.
HINT: Keep in mind players want to be role play with individuals that allow full usage of the  meter. So, understand many players may decide to not role play/ interact with a player not willing  to allow XRPS meter usage.

5. Minimal Role Play – If a player is defeated and the victor wishes to bind and drag them back to their faction headquarters, THEY MUST COMPLY *
A. Player is expected to role play in text as part of the role play.
B. Player is expected to follow and respect the role play.
1. Please do not role play something that implies your stronger than the thinnest of   threads. The individuals are all super powers and KNOW how to restrain the defeated.
2. Please do not say “ they don’t know how to role play” . it’s insulting and we all start somewhere.
C. Player is expected to accept binding and capture. They can attach their own binds, use the XRPS Role Play or the other player’s.
D. Players that are left bound without role play either direct ly or indirectly may leave after a reasonable time ( 10 min.)
E. Victors may ask permission from the defeated player to “portal’  them back to their headquarters.  The captive may refuse and the victor must respect this refusal. (exception- sim crossings, player can insist if anyone is lost in the crossing  the defeated player can legally be teleported to the other side and then the ‘dragging’ may continue)

*If a player is captured by one and then, through the course of the role play, is captured by the other, this is considered legal and the defeated now must go along with the new victor

REMEMBER: The defeated player is grievously wounded.  This means, you DO act wounded. you CAN speak but weakly. Deciding to not interact in defeat in any way will be considered an infraction against the minimal role play rules. Question: Can I use skills while bound?  Yes but the player runs the risk of being immediately defeated again and this is NOT corpse camping.

6. Role Play Limits – Everyone has limits and Judgement Management and Staff want to insure that players feel respected for theirs. Not respecting a player’s personal limits will not tolerated BUT much of the responsibility lies with the player.
NOTE: All defeated players are fully responsible for telling the victor their personal role play limits. This means you MUST say them out in OOC open or IM. They cannot say ‘ read my profile”.   Because personal limits change and by player, the defeated is expect to state their limits EVERY TIME they role play.

THE ONLY LEGAL LIMITS ARE THOSE LISTED BELOW ————–BUT ——  I want to see players be friends and please think about the personal limits. As friends we role play to have fun. Try to get along and work with each other.  I recommend players share their ‘certain kinks ‘ too. Why are we all about NO this and NO that. Share what you love..

A. What is ALLOWED
1. Nudity – the player can role play taking off the clothes but must revert to basic “under clothing’  wear.
2. Shaving the head. – let’s remember hair can grow back and can magically re-grow after    the role play with the assistance of a friend and a few wonderful words.
3. Please know cutting and maiming a body can be healed again in role play.
NOTE: This is a fine line where the maiming of one part should not open the door of  another. Ex: Maiming of sexual parts is reason for some to say NO and will be supported by Judgement.
4. Taking of weapons and communication devices
5. Sexual intentions [ please remember this is a Mature Dark Role Play sim and sex is part of it.  If you really can't handle even mild sexual content then please re think. No one will penalize you for saying 'no' to sex where pose balls and sexual humiliation is included, however, suggestive sexual overtures will be considered within the grounds of legal content for this type of sim.]

B. What is NOT ALLOWED without full consent (please discuss this in IM)
1. Humiliation
2. Rape
3. Permanent Character Death
4. Scat and Water Sports
5. Sexual humiliation, mutilation or pose ball directed
6. Time Limits lower than one (1) hour

What is RAPE? ->  Rape is any penetration into the sexual parts of the body whether is it to the defeated OR demanded of the defeated. Also, rape is taking a sexual part of a body  and orally forcing it on the other.

7. Fast Forward option – Fast forward means that if a captured player feels the role play is uncomfortable they can opt out of the interaction HOWEVER  your body may leave but the role play can continue and your name and reference of you can continue.
NOTE: In cases of rape, humiliation, sex.. etc.. all role play is expected to END at the time of the FF

How to do an FF ( Fast Forward)

NOTE: Please know this option should be utilized sparingly.
1. Contact the other player in IM and share your profile limits
2. Try to come to a compromise so role play can continue
3. Ask if they wish to have a Game Master to help redirect the role play.
4. Declare FF and leave the scene.
5. Contact a Admin/GM and explain why .. You are not required to include logs.
NOTE: A Fast Forward is NOT a do not contact order and players may interact as soon as they wish after ( ie. immediately if they want)

8. Fade to Black – MAY ONLY BE DONE BY IZZEBELLA ROSSINI

9. Shouting to bind or unbind or  when  defeated, bound or captured is illegal as it is beyond normal text range

************************************************************

MISCELLANEOUS

1. COMMUNITY: All players are expected to work within the community and not be disruptive to role play (this includes combat ) . Players who repeatedly break the rules will be subject to a temporary banning.

2. Players who repeatedly disrupt role play by requesting a Judgement Admin/GM  due to their lack of willingness to work within the community or negotiate with the other player will be docked and/or banned.

3. CAMPING/IDLING (XP Idling): When  player is AFK ( Away from the Computer) but remains logged in with a running meter to take advantage of the time based xp award system. – To avoid problems due to emergencies or falling asleep at the keyboard, we advise turning/taking off your meter (/9off) AND any anti-idlers or other means of avoiding being logged out automatically by Second Life.

NOTE: PERFUNCTORY PLAYER: A player that lacks interest, caring or enthusiasm is  indifferent and apathetic . These players are those that remain in the community with an Active Running Meter while really not interacting with the players. These players often only say ‘hello’ to the general public or staff and are clearly are  only ‘collecting ‘ XP.  These players are squeaking by the idling rule while not  involved at all in the general fun of playing in the Judgement community.
Docking of the Perfunctory Player:  1. The Staff will warn them first that their inactivity is being noticed ( this is not a once or twice issue but a habitual player). 2. The player that is found to be habitual will be docked 50% of their XP.. Be reassured they will receive it ALL BACK when they begin to interact with the community on a regular basis. . If they show true involvement  the player receives the first week 20% back .. the next week 20% and finally the third week 10% .  To some of you this seems harsh but, is it really fair to allow this player to be “legal idling”.. no it is not. We’re  a community of players interacting who respect each other and gaining XP should be done while truly interacting with your friends.    REMEMBER- There are not a lot of players who are like t his and we all know who they are (as do they) .. .. this is to help discourage them and keep it fair.

4. HARASSMENT: Harassment is against Judgement rules and the TOS of Linden Labs.  OOC harassment will not be tolerated nor will cloaking in “In Character” role play.  Please keep in mind that such conduct means the community suffers and then management will have to step in to take appropriate actions.

5. XRPS METER:  All XRPS meters must be easily visible both in terms of color and unobstructed.

6. VEHICLES: Allowed in all sims, except Tribulation : A vehicle is defined as any object that uses the physics engine to drive it (i.e. cars, motorcycles, trucks) No Flying Vehicles.

7. Avatar Height – All avatars must be 4ft tall.  NOTE: Meter must be above the head.

8. CHILD AVATARS: Child Avatars are NOT allowed in Judgement. All depictions, enactments, resemblances to children (babies, infants, toddlers, adolescents) of any race or gender are not permitted. You will be Banned from Judgement for violating this policy, and may be reported to LL for further action.
This includes, but is not limited to:
1. Artifacts of childhood (baby bottles, cribs, bibs, diapers, rattles, stuffed animals)
2. Child Clothing and Attire
3. Child Body Shapes (child like stuffed animals, under developed sexually etc)
4. Child Speech, Emotes, or Gestures
5. Anything that is debatable
6.  Children’s play ground equipment.
LINDENS LAB own policy if you need additional clarification  http://blog.secondlife.com/2007/11/13/clarification-of-policy-disallowing-ageplay/

9. Inter-Sim Teleportation:

Teleporting within a sim(s) is deemed illegal. Players must teleport and land at the designated  landing spot provided by the Sim owner.
NOTE:1.  A player may use teleports within their property only and must make them accessible to all Judgement players. (exception: if teleport destination  is above 350m)
2.  No sky box to sky box TPing within an owners parceled land
3. No jumping  out of sky boxes to the surface.  A TP  spot must be provided to the ground and in the same parcel of land that it is located.
IMPORTANT: All sky boxes in play (349m and lower) must be accessible for all players and may not have locked/security TPs.

10. Gesturbating & general spamming: Gesturbating is repeatedly  typing a word / phrase / or symbols to the point it becomes spam. It’s not permitted due to the annoyance factor and disruption to the community. Gesturbating in sound/audible gestures  including the titlers. Music not authorized is included as gesturbating.
GRIEFING: NO Shields, Cagers, Orbiters, or Explosives are allowed in Judgement. These are griefing tools that go strictly against these rules and the Second Life Community Standards.

11. SPY DEVICES:  They are not allowed anywhere in the Judgement Sims. Please see the Linden Lab Terms of Service and you are responsible for complying with these terms.

12. The Outing of Alts of any community player whether in open chat or IM is illegal. If done, that player will be severely docked and/or possibly banned.
12A. Outing a real life name of a player – this is wrong and illegal and will be addressed in the same manner as outing alts
NOTE: The Judgement Management wishes to remind all that we are a community of friends and outing an alt is hurtful and uncalled for.

13. Docking policy:
A. First time – Warning one time ONLY  (exceptions made for known players that may be new to Judgement but honestly do know the rules ..
B. Second time: Player is docked 5% of their XP
C. Third time: Player is docked 10% of their XP
D. Fourth time: Player is docked 10% – NO player will be docked more that 10% of their XP for a single offense.

NOTE:
Multiple Infractions within a single call: Admin procedure-  they will look at the history of the player for infractions within a last Ninety (90) days only. If infractions are found matching the issue at hand, the admin will then look to see the percentage (%) docked. If it is their 3rd offense the Admin will only dock 10% on the first two on multiples and then 5% for all others.
EXAMPLE:  The player is found to be OOC, moving while dead,  shooting through prims and teleporting away.  This is the player’s 3rd offense in all four.  The admin will dock 10% for the OOC, 10% for moving while dead, 5% for shooting through prims and 5% for teleporting away.  Bringing the total XP docking to 30% xp loss.
NOTE: The Judgement Staff reserves the right in rare occasions to dock above or below the suggested amount

14.  Muting is not allowed and will be considered a non friendly community action.  Any muting without the direct consent of a Sr. Admin/GM  will be an immediate 10% dock.

15. Playing Alts: Judgement does not mind players who have alts HOWEVER  it is illegal for the player to have the alt and main player wearing an active meter at the same time while in the Judgement Community. No player may share their alt with another player as it is against the Second Life Terms of Service agreement  (TOS).
16a.  If any player is in an active role play or combat situation and crashes or leaves the battle  they are not allowed to bring their ALT in to complete the role play or combat. If anyone does this they will receive a straight dock and / or ban.

16. Taking pictures in role play 349meters and below
1. minimal role play does not include rping nudity or nakedness
2. minimal role play does not include being placed on a cross/stake etc
3. minimal role play does include being bound and possibly caged
4. minimal role play does require the captive be engaged
5. player who creates a cross/stake etc must role play how and/or why they have the cross also the role play of building the apparatus
6. photos taken must be fully role played into the script – any nudity/sexual must require permission to photo and distribute
7. photos cannot be distributed to others without full role play (this is in any sim in Judgement)
8. all players that receive pics must role play receiving them and if distributed must be fully role played.
9. all players that have such photos must be prepared to have photos be “stealable” meaning they can be attacked and have the photos stolen from them AND if the player that had the photos stolen continues to distribute them, this is considered OOC and they will be docked.

17.  Judgement Staff OOC tag… when this tag is worn by a Judgement Staff member  is it meant to show the players that they are in a ‘call’ and are to given the highest level of respect. This includes players listening to the Staff and never attacking them with this tag on. If any player has an issue with a staff member abusing this OOC  tag they are to bring it to Judgement Management.

LAND OWNER RULES

Parcel Owner’s Rights
1. To ban players if it is reasonable
A. They MUST immediately contact an admin stating the name(s) and reason.
2.  To sell  their rental property
A. They must sell their parcel to someone with the Judgement Community
3. Must comply with the building codes of the Judgement Community
A. Perimeter walls and fences must be either able to jump or have phantom access. If there is something else, they are expected to first clear it with Judgement Management.
Why:  The Community is enhanced by good interaction whether it is combat and text.  Having impermeable walls may make for a build but as some have heard me say ” what good is it to have a  defense wall so impossible to get through when no one can play? Pretty soon, this player is sitting alone lonely for action and has to leave the ‘great wall’ to find the very player they so dearly wanted to keep out.
B.  All players are expect to maintain the theme created  for the role play which is ‘decay war torn and signs of neglect.
C.  All sky boxes must be above the cloud cover, no exceptions

Parcel Owner’s Do Not have the Right
1. Have locked and ‘pickable’ doors
2. To place security systems
3. To have a build that  is not conducive to role play or matching the theme of  Judgement    Universe.
4. No build’s base higher than 60meters and all must be under 120m
5. Land owners must keep all OOC commercial interest above 400m

IMPORTANT:  This is an RP Community that is in decay… this means if you want to  have  your parcel out of character for the community building codes. Please do this in your  sky box..

I know we all want beautiful homes and places to relax.. I had one in other sims. But here in Judgement, we’re in a great war… meaning pristine places and wonderful beaches don’t really fit.. Here is my suggestion:  Have the real decay and somewhere find a  tiny spot that  implies your IC wanted a taste of ‘what was’ and make that your SMALL haven.

NOTE: The idea is for Judgement to be a full community of players who can interact with various members in many fun settings. If a parcel owner obstructs the role play by making the entry into their build etc. impossible or so frustrating then, the Judgement Management reserves the right to expect them to redesign the build to enhance fair and fun play.

All rules are subject to change if it appears the Judgement Community believes it needs to.  No rule is hard and fast. Some rules will not  be made until someone makes a mistake and the Management realizes that they ‘ forgot “ one.  It happens.  The Judgement Community will only be strengthen by member involvement in all areas both OOC and IC . This includes players offering sound solutions to apparent  problems and/or  evaluating what rules work and which ones do not. Obviously some rules that are in place now probably will not be permanent because as the Judgement Community grows  the needs and demands will change.  Please know the Judgement Management is committed to making your role playing experience a positive one.

The official version of the rules can be found at http://www.judgementrising.com/portal/rules/ If you are looking at the rules via any other format or link, then you should consider it reference only, and check the official version for any differences that may be more recent than the copy you may be reviewing.

ADD- ON – November 12th, 2009

———————————————————————————————-

REVISED: Role Play Sims:

1. The role play between the initial players must ROLE PLAY THREE (3) MINUTES BEFORE COMBAT .

2. Other players that arrive during the role play between the two players are legal but they cannot attack anyone until:

A. the two players begin fighting
OR
B. they no attack AFTER THE THREE (3) MINUTES ….they may RP with the other player taking care to ROLE PLAY THREE (3) MINUTES of aggressive intent BEFORE  attacking.

3. During the actually battle “Combat Role Play” is legal

4. Players that arrive after the battle has begun are NOT required to role play before hand.

5. Winners of the battle decide if role play continues

6. If role play continues loser MUST role play complete sentences (because it is a role play sim)

NOTE: this is an experiment  in rule changes and may need to be changed again.

ADD-ON Combat Role Play -

1. Players can leave combat after they paste nature revive (5min defeat/revive time) in local, go chat, go NON COM then type /99 LEAVE
1a. Player may return to battle AFTER 15 minutes and ONLY if the ‘DEFEAT and LEAVE ‘ have been announced in the fight earlier
1b. If defeated and victor binds you but leaves: you may role play: /me wiggles then, /me wiggles more then, /me wiggles out of binds (during the five minutes) then leave BUT ONLY AFTER the FIVE MINUTE NATURAL REVIVE and you then follow the same rules : paste nature revive (5min defeat/revive time) in local, go chat, go NON COM then type /99 LEAVE
NOTE: if the victor role plays with you during the five minutes YOU MAY NOT RP OUT  OF BINDINGS .. however, you are encouraged to IM the victor and discuss their plan for your capture .. and begin role playing. If they do not wish to RP then suggest you contact a game master to help redirect the storyline or allow you a legal TP out.

2. Combat role play is simple. .. keep it simple but use the name .. ‘binds’ means = ALL are bound (wrists and ankles) and do not need to be specific and ‘com’ and weapons are ALL meaning hidden ones too .. DO NOT insist in combat role play to have player be too defined.
a. /me binds izze
b. /me takes izze com and weapons
c. /me unties izze
d. /me drags izze
e. /me gags izze

3. Role playing with victors.. Defeated MUST role play

4. Defeated MUST role play grievously wounded
4.a. . LOL ROFL or light conversation while you are weak and defeated …. NOT ALLOWED .. YOU ARE DEFEATED

5. Ganking is now an OOC term.. also NOT ALLOWED in IC
a. too many players are using this term to escape saying, you are a cheater or blanket OOC insult – NO MORE
